Surrounded by Michigan, Wisconsin, and Northern Illinois, Chicago enjoys a rich culture of apples. Therefore, cider is a natural drink of choice for Chicagoans to share with friends all year round. But for one week each year, Chicagoans, Midwesterners, and cider enthusiasts from near and far have the opportunity to celebrate cider on an even deeper level!

Conceived in 2016 as a grassroots festival with a mission to elevate the Cider Category, Chicago Cider Week has grown well beyond our initial expectations, each year hosting countless events that welcome hundreds of attendees. Our hope is to bring you the best and to share our crazy love for cider with all!

From January 31st - February 3rd, 2024, you’ll enjoy a myriad of events throughout the city including tastings, parties, cider-paired dinners, workshops, benefits for charity, and more. All of this is made possible with the help of cideries, venues, industry professionals and friends within our important community.

Chicago Cider Week is an absolutely unique opportunity to spend time with and learn from makers, growers, and cider drinkers. Our robust and diverse list of events offers something special for every kind of cider lover.
